Лідер каталонського гранда Ліонель Мессі емоційно відреагував на смерть Браянта. Обоє познайомились на тренуванні "блаугранас". Зірковий американець якось зізнався, що вперше почув про маленького феномена від свого близького друга Роналдінью, і не повірив, що той може бути кращим, ніж бразилець.
